A simple way to meditate on Scripture.

Short and meaningful. No more feeling overwhelmed.

  1. Find a short phrase or verse that stands out to you in the passage of scripture that you are reading. Or, if you don't know where to begin, google "inspirational verses" and pick one!

  2. Read the verse to yourself.

  3. Read it again and emphasize the last word. What does that mean to you? How does your heart respond to this? What is God saying to you?

  4. Continue to re-read the phrase, each time emphasizing the word before the last and asking yourself those same questions. (Note: you don't have to ask those specific questions, but allow yourself to ponder and receive from it.)

  5. You can stop here or you can go through the verse again, this time emphasizing words together. Start from the beginning this time while you continue to meditate on each part.

  6. Read it through one last time all together.

Try this out with the example below:

"I can do all things through Christ..." Philippians 4:13

- I can do all things through CHRIST.

- I can do all things THROUGH Christ.

- I can do all THINGS through Christ.

- I can do ALL things through Christ.

- I can DO all things through Christ.

- I CAN do all things through Christ.

- I can do all things through Christ.

- I CAN do all things through Christ.

- I can DO ALL THINGS through Christ.

- I can do all things THROUGH CHRIST.

- I can do all things through Christ.

Guys, He really is beautiful. He really is for you. He really is good. He will meet you. He speaks to you. Lean into Him each day. Your life will be forever changed.
